Australian Quilts in Public Places
EQI was invited to attend the opening of this event, and thanks to Pinky English for representing EQI.
“Reflection” is the theme of an exhibition of quilts made by textile artists from around the country. There are 56 entries interpreting the theme using a variety of techniques and materials. AQA initiated this to generate interest in and an appreciation of quilts as works of art.
It is at Whitehorse Art Space in Box Hill Town Hall. The exhibition closes on Dec 21st.
