Haven’t got enough patchwork books?

“Hello,
I’m sending this to local quilting, craft, etc. groups in case you might want to pass it onto your members.

I’m a volunteer at the Coburg Vinnies op shop (260 Sydney Rd), and we’ve had a massive donation of craft books from a shop that closed down.

There are books on many types of crafts, but a large proportion of them about quilting, embroidery, patchwork and related textile crafts, many imported from the US, originally with high prices.

There are hundreds of quilting magazines, and many others on related areas.

We are selling all these at low prices. No books are more than $4, most $1 or $2. All magazines are 50c.

We even have a box of novels revolving around quilting. I’ve led a sheltered life and was amazed to discover that such things exist.

We’ve put out as many as we had space for, in the back left corner of the shop, looking from the entrance, but we’ll be putting them out for a while.

Hope this might be of interest.”
