REMINDER

Hello to all our members who are no doubt worrying about the extremely high numbers of COVID infections being announced each day.
I just want to remind you that, if you were a financial member as of February 2020, you will be a financial member of EQI for 2021. You will not need to pay another subscription in October this year.

It is even more likely that we will not be able to meet until next year. In the meantime keep posting photos of those beautiful quilts (and other interesting articles), as they really do bring a moment of joy to the viewers.

Unfortunately, I received some bad news this week. During this past week, Joanne Green who had been an EQI member for some time passed away. She was a resident at the aged care facility in Essendon in recent times but was moved out before becoming ill.
I remember Joanne sitting stitching labels and binding at many of our QFO days and prior to that, having many hand-knitted garments in our boutique at our exhibitions.
Our sympathies go to her family.
