What a wonderful result. The three judges took well over and hour and a half to deliberate the entries. They were impressed with the overall very good standard; beautiful neat work; diverse styles and techniques; creativity; bead work and hand stitching. The judges themselves even added another award - an ‘Encouragement Award’.
The ‘First Place’ went to Maureen Devlin, for her ‘Spring Time Beauty’.

The judges were so impressed, they wanted another award on the spot! So thanks to Georgie, a prize was quickly added.

Jane’s use of realia on her quilt caught a lot of attention, I wonder where she found the shells!
Congratulations and Well Done Ladies! All the quilts will be on display at our Christmas Meetings, so if you were not able to see the exhibition, catch up at a meeting.

Well done everyone. When I saw Maureen’s I was blown away. Congratulations to everyone who completed the challenge and for Kerry for all the hard work over the last year organizing the challenge and most important as well, thinking of it. I visited G.J’s on Saturday to view the Challenge and saw a wonderful display. So much color and variety in design. So many quilts. Congratulations to all involved.
