Thank you
It’s Sunday evening and sadly the Quilt Show is over. It is much too soon to do anything else but express our appreciation to our very dear quilting friends.
Firstly we want to thank Members who entrusted us with their quilts and displayed them as part of the Show.
Secondly, we want to thank everyone who visited or encouraged their friends and family to visit. We also appreciate all our Members and friends that supported our special efforts: to make or buy from the Boutique or contribute to our Group Quilt – Essendon Constellations- or buy and sell raffle tickets. We also love that so many of you stopped by the Café and celebrated with friends and family with tea and cake – and they were just scrumptious.
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who made the Show possible by doing all the things that putting on a Show entails.
Thank you, Friends, – each and everyone one of you.
Congratulations to everyone
Regards
Pinky from the UK
Congratulations to all the helpers and committee. So much work goes into organising all those quilts, the cafe and the shop.
Which quilt and block won viewers choice?
Congratulations again. My son-in-law attended on Saturday and was blown away by the variety and quality of the quilts.
A wonderful effort by everyone who helped behind the scenes. So many people helped to make the Quilt show a fantastic weekend. I would like to personally thank Tina and her husband for all the time and effort they put into organising the quilt stands, installing them and packing up on Sunday evening. Also thank you to all the “strong men” who were their helpers. Sunday evening.
To all involved, time now to slow down and reflect on a successful Quilt Show.
What a wonderful effort everyone put in to hold our quilt show, from the show committee, members who entered their beautiful quilts, the members who worked over the four days and how could we forget the wonderful cakes, sandwiches, etc supplied for our gastronomic delight. Maureen D. and Pat B. Slaved away on our “boutique” all weekend selling the goods members made to make money for our Qfo effort. Congratulations to everyone. Now the big question is “what quilt will we start on next” or “what quilt will I finish” for next time
