The Southern Cross Quilters(Scquilters group (http://groups.yahoo/group/scquilters/) was established in 1994 by Wendy Pang to discuss all aspects of patchwork and quilting.
In 2017, there are more than 2,000 Scquilters. The list is for Australian and New Zealand quilters wherever they may live. Members love to shop for stitching products and fabric, design and make quilts for family, friends and others less fortunate. The annual retreat is a time to get together, celebrate life, and have fun.
In recent years, the retreat has been held in Canberra, Launceston, Kiama, Bendigo, Townsville, Auckland, Mildura, and on a cruise ship. In 2018, the Scquilters’ twenty-first retreat will be held from 8 -12 March in Wanganui, New Zealand. Slice of Heaven is the theme for this retreat and the organisers anticipate some 200-300 members will attend.
The organisers would be very grateful if you would consider supporting the Wanganui 2018 retreat by providing a range of your products or vouchers for prizes for our retreat participants. Prizes are awarded for various project challenge categories and for lucky door and class prizes as well as samples provided in retreat tote bags.
Supporting business logos will be incorporated in all retreat publications and in signage at the retreat venue. The names of our supporting businesses will also be published to the online list of our 2,000 members.
This will be a good opportunity for you to promote the quality and variety of your products, directly to your customers.
