Guest Speaker: Susan Smith …

An amazing array of quilts were presented by our guest speaker Susan Smith.

“I would describe myself as a “maker” first and then a collector. One leads to the other and then they both get out of control. I started making quilts as a young child, along with embroidery, lace making and knitting. It’s the fabrics that always draw me back to quilt making, I love them. I mostly design applique quilts and this hobby has become a career that has given me the most amazing opportunities, to make beautiful friends, travel and meet so many wonderful people”.
