Biggest Morning Tea: Viewers Choice Block Challenge 2017
It’s time to go through your stash to find some yellows and blues to go with a cream homespun for this year’s Block Challenge. You get to decide the block – and if you’re looking for some inspiration there are lots of great blocks made by members on our website. Have a look at the blocks made for 12 Blocks for Christmas or some of the fabulous blocks used in quilts in our Show and Tell. If you are still looking for inspiration there will be some ‘block’ books and magazines at the entrance table at the April Meetings.
You need to know:
- The finished block size is 12 inch (12 and half inch with seam allowance)
‘Blue and Yellow’ colour theme for ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ Block Challenge
- The colours must include blue and yellow
- Use a cream homespun for background
- Blocks will be displayed, and ‘hot-dot’ voted, at The Biggest Morning Tea meetings on 17 May and 24 May
