Leftover blocks …

‘Found’ in the depths of the ‘stash’ some leftover rail fence blocks from a baby quilt. So what to do with them? Make a QFO of course!

After ditching to secure the blocks and got to the quilting stage - with a ‘Yutien’ wave ruler - and oops, realised I had sewn the two halves together upside down! Oh well, don’t think it’s going to worry the recipient - they’ll probably think it was intentional! So that’s my story too.

Also realised that the background striped would not have worked if it was the right way up, so obviously it was a mistake when putting the blocks together right at the start. Do you too not see these little mistakes until it’s too late?

More to come as there are even more leftover!
