Hello fellow quilters, and welcome to a summary of our June newsletter.

Last month, we hosted the Biggest Morning Tea fund-raiser in support of the Cancer Council. We raised a total of $330.80. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make the event a success.
Congratulations to our lucky winners! Raffle Prize - Blue and white Quilt: Dianne Linforth. Red and White Challenge Block winner: Laurel Bartowitz. A big thank you as well to everyone who brought a plate to share - what a delicious spread we enjoyed together!

Reverend Glen has announced that the kindergarten will be permanently closing at the end of next year. Following the closure of the kindergarten, the building will undergo renovations, including a new office for Rev. Glen, upgraded bathrooms, and a new stair-free entrance to the hall from the former kindergarten building. We’ll keep you updated on the progress.

Membership fees: Membership fees of $50 are due for the financial year 2025/2026. If paid by June 30th, a 10% discount is applied, resulting in a total of $45. A form is attached to the newsletter, available at the entrance table and online.

Member’s Showcase - Bev Ellis will be presenting her quilts at the day meeting on Wednesday, 18th June.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday, June 11th, for the QFO (Quilts for Others) program; all are welcome.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
Happy stitching,
Regards, Santina
