Bluey bits …

Another scrappy disappearing nine-patch made from 5-inch scrap squares - and there’s still heaps more in the box! Not sure I’ll ever get through them all, but at least it’s fun trying.

After cutting apart the nine-patch, only two opposite segments are turned so that two small squares are on the outer corners and two small squares are running diagonally in the centre. Challenge was to think ahead, by laying out the patches and mentally picturing what would happen to them after cutting and turning, so that motifs were all going in the same direction. Yay - did it!

Added some sashing, and there was just enough leftover from a ‘what was I thinking’ piece, to add a border. Taking a positive viewpoint by observing ‘my, how fabric patterns have changed over the years’!

Another week down and dusted - stay safe everyone.

Cheers
