About three weeks into lockdown decided that I needed to stop looking at quilting books and do some stitching rather than just think about it.

This sugar skull pattern by Tula Pink looked like fun. I’m very confident that I will never make a whole quilt of skulls though. However, I must like Halloween because about this time last year I made a huge spider. I have made the same decision about spiders.

Unusually I decided that I didn’t like some of my FMQ on the background and after about five days I did unpick it. I’m very happy with the end result but you do have to see the back!
