At the Seabreeze Quilt In..
It was a lovely afternoon at the Seabreeze Quilt In on SaturdayIt was a lovely afternoon at the Seabreeze Quilt In on Saturday. A lovely box of goodies were snail mailed to participants as it was a live Zoom event. COVID restrictions changed from a drive to a Town Hall, to staying at home in comfy slippers - no parking problems!
Munching on Minutes and M & M’s, joining 119 online attendees (there were 171 sign-ups) in listening and enjoying the quilts of guest speaker - Sarah Fielke; a look at a textile exhibition by Tania Tanti; and discount shopping from a variety of traders.
Being at home meant stitching by hand or stitching by machine! Background noises of pets, traffic and family easily on mute. Questions via chat answered by speakers as well giving out door prizes.
In a scroll through the participants, I saw Lorraine C knitting, and Nadine B stitching - did anyone else attend? So what did I do - I machine stitched, and got two scrap blocks done - woohoo!
